Data Processing Lead

Position Description
CGI is seeking an organized, process-oriented leader who enjoys solving problems and interacting with customers to lead a large Data Processing Center (DPC). The DPC collects important information and processes it so that it can be used for decision-making by a large federal agency. This leadership position offers the chance to manage a team supporting multiple applications with many different, challenging processes. You will have the opportunity to interact with several project teams across the larger contract, providing management support to project leads and troubleshooting customer issues as they arise. A highly-motivated leader can also use this opportunity to implement efficiencies and cost-saving measures to improve data processing for clients and customers.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The ideal candidate for this position is organized, detail oriented, thrives on designing and following processes, and comfortable interacting with customers and team members. This role is located on-site at a CGI facility in Fairfax, VA, the selected candidate is expected to work in the office a minimum of 2 days per week, with telework options available for the remaining days.
The candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• General oversight of DPC operations and staff.
• Administrative project management tasks, including writing progress reports and tracking spending.
• Authoring executive debrief documents to communicate support status internally.
• Attending status meetings with customers.
• Coordination of courier service pick-up/deliveries and reviewing invoices for accuracy.
• Managing subcontractor personnel, including reviewing and approving monthly labor invoices, and approving weekly timesheets.
• Ad hoc user issue mediation and resolution, including with certificate submissions, abatements, and applications.
• User support tasks such as coordination, update, and resolution of help desk tickets.
• Identification of bugs and enhancement opportunities based on reports from staff of users, work with development team to define fixes/enhancements, test fixes/enhancements in applications or processes.
• Produce monthly reports to include room access data, processing volume, etc.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related discipline
Positive, can-do attitude, and desire to contribute in various means to team success.
Confident communication skills with management, internal team members, and customers.
Ability to work independently within a dynamic team environment
Experience managing subcontractors and vendors, familiarity with reviewing invoices
Familiarity with basic project management tasks and financial tracking using basic spreadsheets
Previous experience with Helpdesk support and familiarity with a ticket tracking tool such as JIRA
Ability to quickly identify, research, and resolve issues as they arise.

Experience in a government consulting role will strongly benefit a candidate.
