Federal Business Development ExecutiveTatum by Randstad Our client, a leader in IT Professional Services for the Federal (Civ and DoD) sector. Due to strong growth, they have asked us to help them find a BDE to drive the deal capture process with Fed Civ and/or Fed DoD. They are operating remotely during Covid and may after it's over, but that question is moot for now. They have numerous contract vehicles available, 8(A) capabilities, and are a pureplay cyber security service firm - no hardware or software. And... the upside is Uncapped! They enjoy writing big checks. --

KPIs:

  • Build upon your contacts in the Fed Civ and/or DoD to find capture opportunities
  • This is a sales role - you don't do the proposals or deliver the service - you sell
  • Security clearance is NOT required
  • Focuses on identification and capture of large, multi-year opportunities with the goal of bidding at least 3 $20-$50M opportunities per year --
    qualifications:
    Requirements and other stuff:
    • 4+ years' experience in a capture and/or business development role
    • Experience selling IT and/or cybersecurity services for Federal customers
    • Experience using available tools and services (such as GovWin, FPDS, USASpending.gov, LinkedIn, etc.) to gather information on opportunities, customers, and incumbents
    • Ability to handle, track and capture multiple opportunities
    • Disciplined follow-though on actions and commitments
    • Proven experience building subcontract teams
    • Base of contacts and connections within the Federal space
    • Experience supporting proposal development processes
    • BS degree or better Compensation:
      • $100K - $120K+ salary
      • UNcapped commission plan
