Big Data System ArchitectJOB DESCRIPTIONOverview** DoD TS/SCI w/CI Poly is Required **Enterprise Information Services, LLC (EIS), a Cognosante company, is seeking--a highly motivated Big Data System Architect to join our team of creative and enthusiastic software development professionals who maintain a collaborative culture. EIS seeks individuals who bring not only technical astuteness, but also strong customer service orientation, creative problem solving ability and pride in a job well done. The position is located in Washington, DC and requires a DoD TS/SCI w/CI Poly clearance.During COVID, this is a first shift position: 4am-12:30pm located at Bolling AFB. There is no shift differential. This is a salaried position.Responsibilities* Work with the functional team to design a Common Operating Picture (COP) for mission data from multiple sources. * The COP will use ArcGIS. The system will be deployed into the AWS cloud.* Can perform tasks of senior level technicians, specialists, and or managers not performed at Level 3 due to the size and/or complexity of the tasks. * Individual Work/Teamwork or Leadership/Management: Leadership/ Management - May work individually or as a key member of a senior leadership team. * Oversees and monitors performance across several disciplines, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues.* Guidance: Provides expert guidance and direction to Government and Vendor senior level technicians and managers. * Directs multiple contractor and subcontractors teams through to project completion.* Skills & tasks: Exceptionally Complex, Inter- Discipline, Inter-Organizational.QualificationsClearance: Active--DoD TS//SCI with CI Polygraph is Required. Education: High School Diploma/GED with 12 years experience, or Bachelors Degree from accredited university with 8 years experienceBasic Qualifications:* IAT Level II Certification (such as Security+ or AWS Architect) is preferred. * Must understand the Agile development process. * Must work with the customer to flush out detailed requirements and turn them into Epics and User Stories. * Must understand AWS Cloud technologies and how to architect the system utilizing these technologies. * Must work to understand the other systems that exist and how they need to be interfaced with.* Must work with the Data Engineers, ArcGIS experts, and Security engineers to design a robust, secure system.
