100% remote Controller Consultant opportunity with a Non-Profit company based out of Washington D.C.Description:The Carnegie Institution for Science seeks a upper level consultant to work in the finance department. Carnegie is implementing NetSuite with a go-live date of January 2022. This role will mainly backfill current staff while they devote time to the implementation project. The term is 10-12 months, and the priority tasks over that time will flex between general accounting, financial statement preparation, 990 preparation, audit planning and execution, payroll oversight, and the ERP implementation. Skills:Accounting, Reconciliation, Audit, Month end, Financial statement, Financial reporting, Finance, GAAP, public accounting, implementation, NetSuite, excel pivot tables, ExcelTop Skills Details:-Highly Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, Advanced Formulas, etc)-8+ years in an Accounting level role with increasing responsibility -2+ years in a leadership role (Manager, Supervisor, Director)Additional Skills & Qualifications:-Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance -8+ years of progressive Accounting experience -CPA Preferred but not required -Big 4, Public Accounting, or large company experience is a plus -Highly proficient within ExcelExperience Level:Expert Level About Aston Carter:Aston Carter is a distinguished global provider of recruitment and staffing services to companies requiring highly specialized business professionals.
