Seneca's client is seeking a Network Security Engineer to support Networking and Security Service operations. The position will require you to be onsite in Arlington for a percentage of time - some remote flexibility. Responsibilities & Duties performed are as follows: Monitor LAN ports switches for servers and interconnectivity between the switches and other network devicesProficient in Routing, Switching, Remote access, Security Information, Event management, and Next Generation Firewalls with product specific knowledge of Juniper Switches, and Palo Alto Networks Firewalls.Ability to manage (VPN) solutionsExperienced in maintaining TIC, VPN, Routing/Switching, Firewalls, Remote Access Solutions, and SIEMProvide Network and Security engineering support for internal systems integration projects such as the cloud-based services, VOIP, virtualized infrastructure, server and storage environmentMust have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance.Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineeringMinimum of 5 years of experience with LAN/WAN hardwareExperience with Juniper, Palo Alto, Load Balancing, Cable and Rack ManagementMinimum of 3 years of experience in troubleshooting, engineering, network architecture and maintaining components of Enterprise networkWell versed in IPSEC, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Multi-link Point2Point, DHCP, SNMP, TCP, UDPPreferred: Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certificationsVOIP experience preferredSD-WAN experience preferred
