As a member of this dynamic and fast-paced team, you will be responsible for determining the features of a product prior to its release. The product owner is a demanding position which must act as a liaison between an organization's development team and end-users, by defining product features necessary to create value for government customers. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: --- Define, update and execute the technology strategy of our government customers. --- You will work with end-users to describe the problem and response in detail, communications team on product launch and customer engagement, Federal leadership on early adoption, and Engineering teams on user experience, architecture, design, and development.--- Collaborate and align with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate customer needs into world-class products - anticipate customer and stakeholder needs--- Manage the product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities for the creation of prototypes, demos and MVP builds.--- Drive the daily execution of an agile development team comprised of scrum master and engineers--- Define, document, and track the completion of Epics, Stories, Tasks, and Bugs--- Coordinate dependencies with other POs and work across teams to define and implement improvement stories that will increase the velocity and quality of the program--- Communicate with other product owners, scrum masters, program leadership, customer, and development teams to report on status, blockers, etc.--- Participate in agile meetings such as daily scrum, retro's, and planning --- Research, identify and monitor market trends to provide an objective analysis of potential opportunities for investment and feature delivery.--- Gather and prioritize market, customer, and internal feedback and requirements; own the product roadmap and backlog.--- Manage product backlog, write user stories and acceptance criteria, provide backlog visibility, and prioritize user stories for implementation.--- Write release notes, support end-user demos and training, and ensure customer approval of delivered user stories.Required Skills--- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or equivalent field. MBA/MS a plus.--- 8+ years of demonstrated success in a fast-paced product management role for software, analytics, and/or SaaS-based products--- Proven record of accomplishment of launching successful new products and enhancing and scaling them through product releases--- Experience with early-stage products and new product development from ideation specification through market launch and revenue generation.--- Proven ability to successfully collaborate with internal stakeholders from various levels and areas of the organization and drive successful outcomes cross-functionally.--- Experience working closely with an engineering organization to define applications and manage them through the entire product lifecycle. --- Experience with development and launch of products focused on data manipulation, visualization and/or next generation technologies.--- Effective oral and written communication and collaboration skills with a proven ability to communicate business requirements.--- Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior level management and other stakeholders. --- Excellent leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.Desired Skills--- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) required--- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile PM, or a SAFe certification preferred.--- Experience with the implementation of SAFe 5 practices while working with waterfall practitioners to meet highly visible project/product deadlines preferred.--- Understanding of Azure DevOps preferred, alternative tools including TFS and Jira required--- Experience with workflow tools such as those found in ServiceNow PPM"IntePros Federal is an equal opportunity employer.
