Job SummaryASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: NSG Partner Engagement Officers develop and implement policies and programs to support GEOINT strategies. They manage partnerships and liaise with government, commercial, academic, and international communities to synchronize requirements and resources, and represent the Agency's position relative to GEOINT. They collect, assess, adjudicate, and rank Intelligence Community (IC) functional requirements and disseminate planning guidance, programmatic direction, and policy. They conduct assessments of GEOINT capabilities and resources to make recommendations and to defend investments.Additional Job InformationADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The mission of the Analysis Stakeholder Engagement Branch is to drive Analysis Senior strategic engagements with the workforce and partners. The selectee for this position will lead and inspire a branch of five personnel located at NCE and NCW. The branch chief is a hands on supervisory position, responsible for supporting agency and directorate senior level engagements and messaging. This individual will collaboratively shape, synchronize, inform and influence executive level engagements with Analysis and its partners. The chief will develop a strategic engagement plan for the directorate that includes a credible platform for consistent messaging to the workforce and partners, proactively connects external customers with Analysis expertise and captures customer knowledge to influence future engagement opportunities. Online applications must demonstrate qualification by providing specific examples and associated results, in response to the announcement's mandatory criteria specified in this vacancy announcement:* Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a cohesive branch with proven high quality results of output.* Advanced communication skills, knowledge of strategic messaging development, ability to conduct oneself with composure under pressure and experience briefing and interacting with senior executives.* Demonstrated understanding of GEOINT analysis, analytic tradecraft, and analytic modernization.* Demonstrated experience in research and information gathering capabilities, including collaboration with key stakeholders, resulting in enhanced engagement opportunities.* Ability to work in a dynamic environment with consistently changing schedules and agendas while demonstrating strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple activities.EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Foreign Area Studies, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, History, Information Science, Information Technology, International Studies, Political Science, or a related field. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience in GEOINT, Intelligence Analysis, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in GEOINT, Intelligence Analysis, or a related area that successfully demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work.Highly Desired QualificationsQUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired:* Ability to foster a one-team environment by working collaboratively with mission partners.* Demonstrated experience with Distinguished Visitor coordination and engagement activities.* Demonstrated ability to guide and facilitate the career goals of employees including training, mentoring, professional development, and promotion.* Ability to manage administrative task to include engagement planning, personnel, budget, and resources within an organization.* Drive the production of high quality written guidance and policy that drive organizational goals.Additional Job RequirementsYou must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information. In addition, you are subject to a Counterintelligence Polygraph examination in order to maintain access to Top Secret information. All employees are subject to a periodic examination on a random basis in order to determine continued eligibility. Refusal to take the examination may result in denial of access to Top Secret information, SAP, and/or unescorted access to SCIFs.Employees with SCI access and who are under NGA cognizance are required to submit a Security Financial Disclosure Report, SF-714, on an annual basis in order to determine continued eligibility.
