We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Part-Time CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. This position plays a key role in servicing our customers through timely and compliant transportation of recyclable materials within a 120-mile radius. Responsibilities Make scheduled pick-ups and deliveries at commercial and industrial facilities Drive a Federal Recycling semi-truck with van trailer Perform multiple drop-and-hook trailer swaps daily Load and unload materials as needed Ensure all associated paperwork is completed accurately Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT standards Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record Make occasional unscheduled or urgent pick-ups/deliveries Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) Ability to safely operate a semi-truck and adhere to DOT regulations Strong time management and independent decision-making skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Education / Experience High school diploma or GED required Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Physical Demands This role frequently requires sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands to handle materials or controls. Regular activities include walking, standing, and occasional stooping or reaching. The position involves lifting items up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity must support driving, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Schedule This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling.
