Job Description:
Join System Freight, Inc., a leader in transportation and fleet
outsourcing services, as a CDL-A Local Driver. As part of our
dedicated team, you will be pivotal in providing timely and
efficient transportation solutions, with a key focus on
direct-to-store deliveries across the Northeastern United States.
This position is ideal for those who excel in a dynamic,
safety-driven environment, aiming to ensure excellence in every
delivery and uphold the System Freight reputation for reliability.
Operate a CDL-A truck to make local deliveries to customer sites,
ensuring timely delivery as per schedules. Perform pre and
post-trip vehicle inspections as required to maintain a safe
vehicle condition. Adhere to all safety and DOT regulations,
maintaining a safe driving record and log according to Federal and
State regulations. Interact positively with customers during
deliveries and pick-ups, representing System Freight with
professionalism. Manage proof of delivery paperwork from customers,
ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist in loading and unloading
goods from the truck as required, ensuring all goods are secured
for transport. Strong driving record with proficiency in local
transportation logistics. Excellent coordination and organizational
skills. Ability to work independently and handle physical demands
of the job. Strong communication and customer service skills.

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) required. DOT Medical Card.
