Job Description The Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
Officer at this law firm is responsible for ensuring adherence to
regulatory requirements, managing client and vendor agreements, and
protecting the integrity of the firm’s records and data. This role
involves overseeing data governance, developing and implementing
policies to mitigate operational, legal, and compliance risks, and
managing third-party relationships to ensure security and
compliance. The GRC Officer also provides high-level oversight of
records management, ensuring proper classification, retention, and
disposal in line with legal and regulatory standards. Candidates
must have a bachelor’s degree and over 15 years of experience in
GRC, with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal
skills. The position requires handling confidential information
discreetly and collaborating effectively across all levels of staff
and external partners while managing multiple priorities and
shifting deadlines.
