A rapidly growing, Series C HealthTech company is seeking to bring on a Chief Legal Officer to their team. This company is utilizing cutting-edge technology to help close the gaps in accessibility and equity within the Healthcare system. You will be an integral member of the executive team, serving not just as the head attorney, but as a thoughtful and strategic business partner as well.

Qualifications
JD, member in good standing of a state bar
Generalist background including corporate and commercial transactions, Healthcare compliance, privacy, corporate governance, litigation, etc.
10+ years of Legal experience in the Healthcare or Technology industry
Prior experience with startups or hypergrowth companies
Ambitious, hands-on mentality
Current residence or openness to living in CA not required but strongly preferre
Responsibilities
Promote legal, compliance and risk management best practices throughout the company
Establish the Legal function & build out a team of attorneys
Advise business and product teams on current and future products
Manage outside counsel on matters pertaining to healthcare compliance, litigation, corporate law, labor and employment
Identify & develop processes that will maximize efficiency of the company & Legal function
Proactively look for solutions to mitigate risks
