Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Senior
Principal Systems Administrator to join our team of qualified,
diverse individuals. This position will be located in Reston, VAor
Bolling AFB, DC.
Youwill become part of Northrop Grumman's DIA contract.You willhelp
us manage our servers across multiple networks. We are responsible
for running several of the Agency's business applications include
HR, Training, Benefits, etc. We use Amazon Web Services (AWS)/C2S
to provision servers and configure the environments from scratch
but we also use VMWare.
Roles and Responsibilities:
o Daily system monitoring/Checks
o Disk Space
o CPU utilization
o Application Availability
o Application Performance
- General System Administration
o STIG Scans/Vulnerability Management/System Hardening
o Disk space allocation (LVM)
o Linux Patching
o General understanding of NFS
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the
knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below
Bachelor's degree in a related field and10+ years of relevant
experience. (High School diploma with14 years of relevant
experience in lieu of a Bachelor's)
Understanding of Scripting (Bash, Python, etc).
Must have a current TS/SCI clearance or higher.
Must have the ability to work well within a small team to develop
ad hoc solutions for our customer.
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential
Security+ certification Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
RHEL 6, RHEL 7
