financial services firm located in Virginia and Maryland has an
exciting full-time opportunity for a Senior .NET Developer. This
position will support the CTO in implementing the technology
vision. Description As a Senior .NET Developer, you will handle
on-going customer needs such as accounting package integrations
(importing and exporting), supporting existing ASP.NET MVC and Web
Forms systems, the Web APIs, Azure Cloud Services, Windows
Services, and other .NET components. Your passion for problem
solving will be evident in the way you investigate customer issues
in our production web applications and help identify and fix
defects at breakneck speed. Requirements You must love to solve
challenging, often unique problems. Passion for problem solving
will be evident by the way you investigate issues. You should
embrace and learn from technology instead of fearing it. You should
be willing to dig deeper into the existing code to support our
current systems. Your communication skills must be top notch. You
should have a broad range of technology skills that include but are
not limited to: - ASP.NET Web Forms - ASP.NET MVC - Angular (Nice
to have) - AJAX - HTML/JavaScript - JSON - J-Query - C# - XML / XSL
- ADO.NET - SQL Server - Shell or Batch Programming - Agile
Development - Windows Azure (Cloud Services, Azure Queues, Service
Bus, Azure Storage) Troubleshooting and resolving problems with
production applications. Work as a software developer under a
team-based development process which utilizes aspects of both agile
and waterfall design processes. Rock star C# developer with
emphasis on scalable and reusable architecture. Detailed design
documents, coding, unit testing, assisting the test teams with
verification, assisting CM with build issues, and assisting the
documentation team. 5 years of experience developing software
lifecycle documentation including Function Design Documents,
Technical Design documents, test plans, test scripts, and
implementation documentation. Experienced in Database Design,
Development & Support of MS SQL Server. Proficient knowledge of
writing, modifying, and implementing Stored Procedures, Functions,
Views, Triggers, and SQL Server Jobs. 80% Coding and Unit Testing
10% Collaboration with Team Members 10% Documentation Experience
Minimum 5 years Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related or
