Yes Job Description: Solutions Engineer/Systems Architect - SME
Praxis successfully delivers a prime contract supporting High
Performance Computing (HPC) for a restricted customer and select
mission partners. This contract provides scientific computing
support, advanced computing capabilities, and interfacing IT
infrastructures committed to enabling high fidelity, advanced
analytics by delivering the highest quality technical capabilities
and engineering support to its customers. The infrastructure
includes state of the art hardware, software, and networks. The
program supports an advanced computing infrastructure containing
clustered super computing CPUs and GPUs, software defined storage,
and advanced networking enabling high fidelity, advanced scientific
modeling and data analytics. This environment provides
unprecedented access to computational power and analytic throughput
to solve the government’s most challenging computational and
scientific problems to meet mission requirements. What you will be
doing: Coordinates, reviews, and integrates the deliverables of
information and technology architectures into cohesive solutions.
Provides creative and innovative architectural solutions to rapidly
evolving and continuously advancing technologies to meet mission
requirements. Reviews and assesses impact of proposed scope changes
to future architectures. Willingness and passion to learn new
hardware/software systems that are consistent with duties. Engage
staff, clients, partners and stakeholders to define the operational
and future roadmap for the future High Performance Computing
environment including compute, networking, interconnection, storage
and client interfaces to these capabilities. Works with senior
business and technical personnel to deliver a robust scalable
architecture and High Performance Computing solutions that meet the
mission needs of the enterprise. What you will need: Security
clearance required: Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph Demonstrated success
in automating processes and virtualization. M.S.E.E., M.S.C.S. or
other technical degree, with a minimum of nine years of relevant
professional experience, a B.S.E.E., B.S.C.S. or other technical
degree, with a minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant
professional experience, or no degree with a minimum of twenty (20)
years of relevant professional experience. Track record of
delivering results. Perform system-level analysis and design, trade
studies of system components, recommendation of engineering
approaches, and architectures and solutions to advance the state of
the High Performance Computing environments. Support for analysis,
planning, implementation, test and deployment of highly complex
production systems. Previous professional responsibility of
developing strategies and strategic plans. Designing, developing
and testing of embedded or real-time software, signal processing
algorithms, High Performance Computing solutions, and developing
software or device drivers for special-purpose hardware. Designing
and developing solutions to complex applications problems, system
administration issues, or network concerns. Analyzing scientific,
engineering, business, and all other data processing problems for
application to electronic data processing systems. Previous
experience documenting and presenting system architectures and
plans to gain acceptance and approval from stake holders including
front office staff, mission partners, information security boards,
data center management, etc. Analyzing user requirements,
procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems
and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling
limitations. Significant experience with architectural analysis,
design and implementation of scalable computing, clustering
systems, networking and storage systems delivered as a fabric.
Analyzing or recommending commercially available hardware and

$261,651 - $353,999. This is not, however, a guarantee of
compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on
experience, geographic location and possibly contractual
requirements and could fall outside of this range. Scheduled Weekly
