Job Description:
ManTech, a leader in delivering high-impact, innovative
solutions for mission-critical national security programs, seeks an
experienced Senior Linux Systems Administrator to support and
enhance the IT frameworks within our federal health and defense
sectors. The right candidate will utilize advanced Linux
capabilities to manage, configure, and maintain robust server
environments, ensuring high availability and security compliance
across platforms. Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers
and processes, including monitoring of system health and
performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability,
and security. Proactively maintain and develop all Linux
infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service.
Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot
fixes on servers. Perform root cause analysis on failed components
and implement corrective measures. Work closely with the
cybersecurity team to implement robust security measures in
accordance with company policies and client requirements.
Participate in disaster recovery simulations and actual events to
ensure data integrity and availability. Expertise in Linux server
administration Strong knowledge of the Shell scripting and
automation tools Experience with system monitoring tools Knowledge
of network technologies and protocols Ability to troubleshoot
complex systems issues CompTIA Linux Red Hat Certified System
Administrator (RHCSA) Certified Information Systems Security
Professional (CISSP) preferred
