At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are expanding our infrastructure rapidly to support our growing number of customers. We are seeking a seasoned Mgr. Schedule Controls Manager for AMER Construction Programs to oversee the effective scheduling, monitoring, and execution of construction projects across the Americas. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects adhere to timelines and budgets while maintaining AWS standards in innovative cloud infrastructure development. The successful candidate will be deeply involved in high-level strategizing and directly contribute to the expansion of AWS’s leading-edge physical infrastructure. Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using modern project management tools and techniques. Identify potential schedule risks and devise mitigation strategies to ensure on-time project deliveries. Collaborate with stakeholders to align project scopes, timelines, and budgets with company strategies. Lead a team of scheduling professionals, providing direction and support in complex project settings. Report regularly on project status, budget, schedule, and risks to senior management. Conduct detailed project reviews and audits ensuring compliance with AWS standards and industry practices. Advanced skills in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and team leadership abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred. Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is advantageous.
