Job Description:

Clearance: TS/SCICertification: CompTIA Sec+RMantras is seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to support the DISA Program.Primary Responsibilities

• Work to address End-user issues as Tier II tickets are escalated within ITSM.
• Install patches and perform routine maintenance as required in support of security and O&M maintenance requirements.
• Monitor environment for system anomalies and perform root cause analysis as required.
• Document all changes to the test, operational and cloud environments in compliance with customer and DOD practices.
• Implement Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs) in support of change control process and system enhancements.
• Work to maintain a highly secure environment in compliance with all DOD security requirements.
• Work closely with other IT disciplines in the resolution of user and system issues.Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of experience working operational Linux environments. Additional years of logistics experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • Must be DOD 8570 IAT II Certified.
  • Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.Required Experience
    • Experience with creating, modifying, and troubleshooting end user accounts.
    • Experience with REDHAT Linux and variant operating systems.
    • Highly proficient in shell scripting and Linux CLI environments.
    • Experience using shell scripting to facilitate repeatable processes.
    • Working knowledge of SELINUX and intermediate expertise in configuring and maintaining it.
    • Working knowledge of Ansible and how to leverage it to secure operating systems, along with maintaining CM baselines.
    • Working knowledge of AWS cloud environments.
    • Ability to automate through basic scripting (e.g., Bourne, Korn, Python).
    • Implemented security measures in compliance with DOD regulations.
    • Managed, created, and modified filesystems.
    • Experience in installing Linux operating systems.
    • Detailed understanding of CLI basics.Preferred Qualifications
      • Prior experience with DISA and DISA's support to mission partners.
      • TS/SCI w/CI Poly Preferred.
      • Redhat Linux certification.
