Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Provide oversight of requirements gathering and interpretation for all infrastructure impacts across the portfolio pipeline.
  
• Clarify requirements as necessary and ensure all teams understand the business reasons for the requirements.
  
• Participate in and lead design and implementation reviews during the lifecycle of key projects to ensure Operational Readiness.
  
• Provide expertise in data modeling, system integrations, best practices, and application testing.
  
• Partner with architecture/development teams on business planning sessions.
  
• Review existing solutions, tracking and remediating issues for resiliency, risk, and performance.
  
• Provide technology guidance into strategic plans and business strategies.
  
• Perform coding, peer review, and design solutions in Appian.
  
  Type of Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years of IT experience with at least 7-8 years delivering solutions using Appian.
    
  • Experience with Appian versions 20x/21x/22x; ability to write complex Appian SAIL code, not just drag and drop.
    
  • Strong understanding of Appian Objects such as Sites, Records, Reports, Tasks, News, Actions, Expression Rules, Constants, Query Rules, Web API, Interface Rules, CDTs, Process Models, Decisions, Integrations, Connected Systems, Data Stores, Groups, Feeds, etc.
    
  • Experience with three or more end-to-end Appian BPM implementations (Design/Develop/Deploy/Package) and building frameworks and BPM concepts.
    
  • Sound knowledge of Appian Process/Solution and Infrastructure Architecture, including knowledge of Appian In-Memory KDB Engines and App Servers such as JBOSS and TOMCAT.
    
  • Expert in user interface development, engineering cross-browser and cross-device compliant code.
    
  • Experience with application delivery using agile methodologies.
    
  • Hands-on experience in writing Appian Plugins (Smart Services, Function Plugins, Servlet Plugins, Connected Systems, and Component UI Plugins preferred).
    
  • Experience with J2EE Design Patterns such as JSPs, Java Servlets, EJBs, JDBC, etc.
    
  • Strong understanding of JMS Messaging Services, Spring Security Framework, and Hibernate Technologies.
    
  • Broad experience with technologies such as CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, Angular JS, React JS, or the latest UI frameworks.
    
  • Exposure to RPA, AI, and intelligent automation tools.
    
  • Experience with SQL coding using SQL Server, MySQL, or Maria DB.
    
    Education & Length of Experience: Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record. Minimum total work-related experience required is 8-12 years in a related area.
