Job Summary B&A is looking for a -Technical Lead -to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while supporting a federal client. Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the DevOps team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Develop and implement DevOps strategies to optimize the software development and delivery lifecycle.
  • Development Background:
    • Utilize your expertise in Java or Angular to understand and contribute to the development process.
    • Collaborate with development teams to streamline code deployment and integration processes.
    • Business Analysis:
      • Analyze business requirements and user needs to align DevOps processes with overall project goals.
      • Bridge the communication gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of business objectives.
      • Project Management:
        • Act as a deputy project manager, assisting in project planning, coordination, and execution.
        • Ensure timely delivery of projects by monitoring timelines, identifying potential roadblocks, and implementing effective solutions.
        • Automation and Infrastructure:
          • Implement and maintain automation processes for build, deployment, and testing.
          • Oversee infrastructure management, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of systems.
          • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
            • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
            • Monitor and optimize CI/CD processes to enhance efficiency and reliability. Education and Experience
              • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Required Skills
                • Proven experience in software development, with expertise in Java or Angular.
                • Strong background in DevOps practices and methodologies.
                • Business analysis skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
                • Experience in project management or a deputy project manager role.
                • Proficiency in automation tools and infrastructure as code (IaC).
                • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Desired Skills
                  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
                  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
                  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
                  • Certification in DevOps, project management, or related fields is a plus. Security Clearance
