Leidos is seeking a Senior Tester for a position as part of a team supporting the National Nuclear Security Administration in Washington, DC area. This is an onsite position, no full-time telework allowed. This is an exciting opportunity within the IT Operations and Engineering team. The successful individual must be flexible resilient, mission focused, and can adapt without issue to rapidly and repeatedly changing environments. In this hands-on position, you will work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real time systems. You will exercise your judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines and other resource constraints. You will participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.Your greatest work is ahead!The MissionLeidos Civil Group helps modernize infrastructure, systems, and security.   • Provide technical guidance during a significant project in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining program.
  • Translating and interpreting functional requirements into test cases.
  • Maintain test environment and install new software code as necessary as needed to support applications
  • Develop and use automated test
  • Perform regression testing, covering full suite of Operational Test Scenarios for builds and/or images to be delivered to customer.
  • Develop detailed test plans, test data and define test acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare test report summarizing test results including anomalies, systems errors, and configuration changes.
  • Support the software configuration management process and understand software components and their interface requirements.
  • Verify specific action or function of code and demonstrate successfully to customer.
  • Assist the software development team in the implementation of automated regression testing.
  • Support Customer Demonstration, data prep and UAT activitiesWhat Sets You Apart:
    • An active DoEQ or DoD Top Secret clearance is required for consideration
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 2 - 4 years of direct experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience
    • Test data management and testing automation
    • Technical expertise including knowledge of in Java and Database programming languages
    • Experience with DevOps, continuous integration tools and source control tools
    • Experience with agile development and testing methodologies
    • The ability to work on a multidisciplinary teamLocation:
      • Washington, DCnnsanimsPay Range:Pay Range $54,600.00 - $98,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
