We're looking for a systems administrator with a solid background in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating systems to help us build and deploy technical platforms and cybersecurity solutions for Navy systems that will stand up to even the most advanced cyber threats.As a systems administrator on our project, you'll help customers overcome tough challenges while ensuring that mission networks and platforms are functional and available. You will also help to strengthen the cybersecurity posture of Navy systems by applying critical updates and patches to fix vulnerabilities. You'll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like enterprise management of Red Hat Linux systems including virtual and cloud-based implementations of Linux. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. • 3+ years of experience as a Linux system administrator
• Experience with installing, configuring, or deploying Red Hat Linux systems
• Knowledge of Command Line Interface, Secure Shell, Logical Volume Manager, user account management, or configuring physical and logical partitions
• Ability to install, configure, or deploy Red Hat Linux systems in accordance with DoD and Department of Navy requirements on a production network
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to obtain Security+ or IAT Level II certification within 30 days of hireNice If You Have:
  • Experience with administration of Macintosh servers and workstations
  • Experience with Apache web server administration
  • Knowledge of Linux DNS, Solaris, ESX, or ESXi
  • Knowledge of UNIX-based systems

The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD).
