Experis is partnered with a large healthcare provider in their search for a Lead Microstrategy Developer to join their team in Washington, DC. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The primary purpose of this role is to deliver Business Insights BI Reporting solutions on MicroStrategy (MSTR) platforms
• The MicroStrategy Developer/ Administrator shall be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, testing and evaluating these processes for BI solution and other data analytics
• This role translates requirements into new reporting processes, maintains and executes existing processes, as well as continuous improvements
• Ability to design, develop, and support schema objects, build grids, graphs, reports, documents and dashboards
• Experience in creating and integrating MSTR Reports, Dynamic Dashboards, Dossier, Platform Analytics and objects with the data from Oracle, Impala, and Snowflake
• End-to-end experience in managing projects, MSTR servers, configuring I-server and user management, MicroStrategy Installations & Upgradations, License manager, update license key when needed
• Assign users to proper security roles, filters, upgrades, configurations, and monitoring
• Object/Package migrations using Object manager
• Create batch script file to run cubes automatically
• Perform schedule deployments to MSTR servers during weekend
• Schedule dashboards and cubes on user requests
• Refresh cubes and documents as per schedule
• Support infrastructure-related issues like I-server memory issue, error on dashboard, etc.
• Collaborate with cross functional BI team members and end users to define requirements and reporting specifications and provide technical assistance
• Dynamic Dashboard, Report development, and Project design: Facts, Attributes, Hierarchies, Aggregation
• Deliver required documentation for build, and support responsibilities, including architecture and data flow diagrams
• Collaborate with other members in the team to develop efficient and scalable reporting solutions QUALIFICATIONS:
• Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Mathematics/Sciences and 5 to 6 years of experience in design, development, administration and maintenance of Business Intelligence solutions using MSTR
• Essential to have experience and depth knowledge in SQL
• Highly proficient with design and development of grid reports, report services documents and dashboards
• Having worked on Databases like Oracle, Impala, and Snowflake
• Strong knowledge on performance tuning of report SQLs, MSTR VLDB (Very Large Database) settings
• Excellent dashboard design skillset, including UI/visualization aspects and performance tuning of dashboards, intelligent cubes, transaction services
• Good knowledge on MSTR Admin skills including Object Manager, Integrity Manager, Enterprise Manager, Command Manager, Web SDK
• Hands on experience on Installation, configuration and deployment of MSTR tool, clients, and MSTR Library
• Perform MSTR security and administration for all internal and external users including the creation / modification of MSTR roles, LDAP groups
• Set up Operations Managers and Enterprise Manager/Platform Analytics
• Experience in SQL troubleshooting, report failures, project and I-server level governing settings and their impacts
• Hands on experience on MSTR SDK environment
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Strong analytical creative problem-solving capabilities
• Local candidates (DC Metropolitan areas) preferred, but remote candidates also considered
