Description
Open Systems Technologies Corporation (OST) is seeking a highly qualified Scala developer to join our team of engineers. The ideal candidate should be able to develop Business Intelligence solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment. The role outlined is for Scala developer in Big Data (Hadoop, Spark, Streaming application) and AWS (Kinesis, Lambda, Elastic Search Service) in end to end delivery stream. A full stack lead data engineer with hands on experience in Spark-Scala, Kafka, Flume, Storm, akka & play framework is highly desirable. If you have worked on multiple Big Data strategy projects as Cloud Architect on Microsoft or AWS platform, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:

  Work with large streams of data using tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flume, and Storm.
  
  
• 
  Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement distributed applications and modules as part of a systems development team.
  
  
• 
  Serve as the Big Data expert to support a large scale and dynamic Business Intelligence solutions group.
  
  
• 
  Provide end-to-end technical expertise and knowledge in support of architecture, design, and development of NoSQL solutions.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, in both written and oral formats.
