Contract Type: 1099 or C2C. Net 45 -Rate: $72 - 79/hour, -Depending on ExperienceLocation: RemoteAgilian is seeking an experienced Azure SQL Data Factory Architect to oversee the modernization of an Unemployment Insurance Tax -System for our government client. This role will be responsible for data integration services and coach teammates on Azure Data Factory to create and schedule data-driven workflows. -This team member will serve as Azure SQL expert and provide in-depth consultation to ensure the modernization project is met on time, on scope, and at cost, The -Azure SQL Data Factory Architect -should have experience delivering projects at the high level of quality acceptable for our client, preferably with experience working with government entities. -Responsibilities: -

• Design and Development of data Ingestion / processing frameworks within cloud environments -
• Working knowledge in Metadata management: Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM, Lineage, Data Catalog etc. -
• Capable of providing subject matter expertise on data management best-practices and implementation (Big Data & Cloud) -
• Provides Solutioning for Data Engineering, migration and Analytical applications and downstream consumption on Azure Platform -
• Creating -data factories to orchestrate data processing activities in a data-driven workflow, monitor and manage the data factory, move, transform and to analyze data required for analysis. -
• Able to understand and interact in all key components of Azure Data Factory (pipelines, activities, datasets, linked services, data flows, integration runtimes.) -
• Understanding the concept of data cleansing techniques including, but not limited to, outlier removal, data imputation, data standardization and aggregation -
• Provide technical mentoring, guidance, and training to Data and Analytic engineering to less experienced teammates and provide resourceful input in completing needed data tasks - -Required Qualifications: - -
  • Ability to undergo a background investigation -
  • 5+ years of experience with deep understanding in both traditional and modern data architecture and data processing, performance, and scalability concepts -
  • 5+ years of experience with traditional relational SQL Databases, specifically Azure SQL -
  • 3+ years of experience with Integration and processing from multiple data sources using tools such as Azure Data Factory is required -
  • 5+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of complex application architectures -
  • Experience with Microsoft/Azure stack (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Bricks, Data Lake, Data Catalog, SSIS, SQL, etc., and NoSQL databases) -
  • Deep understanding of data and how it relates to architecture (Data ingestion, Realtime, Batch, SQL, NoSQL, Analytics, etc.) -
  • Understand Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM) processes and apply them to the technical solution -
  • Experience working with Python, NumPy, Pandas, etc. for data processing and analysis -
  • Strong ability to think strategically and align design and architecture patterns to drive current needs as well as future growth -
  • Deep understanding of enterprise integration with an emphasis on scalable patterns -
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills -
