Job Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly growing SaaS business. You will be responsible for supporting large scale deployment projects, network and all underlying systems related to supporting cloud computing workloads and IT project deployment. You will also utilize critical thinking and problem solving in concert with effective industry tested tools to deliver exceptional value to our customers.
Our team performs their job duties from a home office or other remote location, but you may also be required to infrequently report to an SHI office location for internal meetings.

  Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • 
    5+ years minimum experience in software development with substantial part of the experience building applications in a hosted Web/SaaS environment
    
    
  • 
    Strong track-record with CI/CD tools (Chef, Jenkins, Ansible, Azure Devops, etc)
    
    
  • 
    Hands-on experience with Integration Technologies - RESTFul, SOA, microservices
    
    
  • 
    Familiarity with one or more databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, Cassandra
    
    
    Required Skills
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Excellent working knowledge of application development using Open Source, Microsoft and other third-party technologies
      
      
    • 
      Solid experience of Scrum and Agile technologies
      
      
    • 
      Full Stack Development - node.js, .NET, Java, Python, TypeScript
      
      
    • 
      Hands-on experience with Web Services, XML, SOAP, JSON, YAML
      
      
    • 
      Familiarity with Angular, Bootstrap, PrimeNG frameworks
      
      
    • 
      Ability to develop and implement SQL scripts, Stored Procedures and ETL processes
      
      
    • 
      Consistency in delivering outputs efficiently and of high quality
      
      
    • 
      Familiarity with Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes
      
      
    • 
      Familiarity with cloud and related technologies and/or ability to ramp up quickly
      
      
    • 
      Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately, verbally and in writing
      
      
    • 
      Experience writing unit tests
      
      
    • 
      Familiarity with ticketing systems, API integration and security models
      
      
    • 
      Strong analytical skills and innovative problem-solving skills
      
      
    • 
      Self-motivated individual who works well as part of a team and independently

        Additional Information

        • 
          The estimated annual pay range for this position is $132,000 - $240,000 which includes a base salary and bonuses. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
