Ideal candidate should also be familiar with SharePoint best practices and in various 3rd party products and technologies that extend the functionality of SharePoint. Additionally, the Sr. SharePoint Developer is an accomplished software developer with proficiency in C#, ASP.Net, the SharePoint Client and Server Side Object Models and in developing SharePoint customizations that utilize SharePoint's API. Duties will also include solution and site design, source code testing review of developed code, and deployment of code from a development environments to staging environments.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: + Proactively bring SharePoint solutions to business stakeholders, identifying and implementing methods of greater communication and collaboration across the enterprise.+ Provide SharePoint Custom Solutions related O and development leadership to other SharePoint support staff.+ Assist in-house customers in SharePoint Administration support (including permissions management), work instructions and documentation detailing best practices for SharePoint.+ Develop, document, communicate and maintain SharePoint Governance processes and policies.+ Identify the need and design, develop, and deliver user-training, as required, and/or self-service user support such as, for example, "SharePoint Tip of the Week" in order to elevate organization's SharePoint intelligence.+ Ability to understand, develop and explain SharePoint's CSOM and Server Side models/solutions.+ Ability to create new sites and maintain, deal with re-orgs, tasks, special projects or initiatives.+ Strong writing skills to assist in developing quick reference guides and knowledge base information detailing step-by-step responses to sample assistance questions and other routine requests for SharePoint 2013 support.+ Provide organized training to client's internal learning academy as well as ad hoc one-on-one user assistance/training.+ Demonstrating understanding of a top down view between departments and organizations and understand cross-departmental collaboration. He/she will need to communicate with Department leads and other groups to understand their needs.+ Assist with the development of Power BI reports and data analytics.+ Support migration efforts from SharePoint 2013 on prem to SharePoint Online.SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:+ Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and consultative skills.+ Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to document solutions, develop training, and present solutions.+ Expertise in understanding requirements provided by non-technical users/customers and creating a solution that provides them with the functional capabilities they desired.+ Ability to analyze, diagnose, recommend, and implement solutions that resolve functionality problems.+ Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on expertise with Microsoft SharePoint Server, web parts, search, branding, permissions etc.+ Able to produce technical documentation and network architectural diagrams.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & CERTIFICATIONS:+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.+ At least eight (8) years of relevant SharePoint experience.+ MCSE SharePoint and/or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) is highly desired.+ US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
