Job Description:Project Management of T1 grooming to reduce T1 mileage expense in the National Access network. The Project Manager role involves managing the overall T1 Mileage program including opportunity analysis, confirming T1 information from the planners, coordinating schedules with ESO and LEC, sends orders through PART, work exceptions, tracking ESO orders, and project management of circuit roll activities with provisioning and access providers.
Daily Responsibilities:

• Project Initiation - Initiate project packages to the access planners, review new CFA assignments, identify and eliminate discord issues, and trigger LEC Access Orders
• Project Coordination - Schedule circuit rolls, ensure LEC Access orders flow properly, and resolve any issues or roadblocks
• Project Completion - Ensure cutovers are completed as scheduled, records updated, and close out projects
• Program Reporting - Overall tracking of T1 Mileage Reduction program including dates and financials
• Create, Track, and Drive Individual T1 circuit mileage reduction projects
• Opportunity Analysis - Excel spreadsheet analysis to create project batches
• Initiate requests to planners for new CFA
• Build projects and coordinate dates with ESO and LEC partners
• Trigger Access Orders - Confirm T1 from and to information and issue LEC Access order automation request via PART
• Order Exception Management - Resolve order discrepancies
• Schedule Circuit Rolls - Schedule project circuit rolls, coordinate partner team activities, resolve issues and remove roadblocks, etc.
• Other Duties as needed
  Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ Years telecommunications experience
  • Demonstrated wireline transport implementation project management experience
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of TDM Architecture (DS0, DS1, DS3, etc.)
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Proven detail oriented
  • Demonstrated knowledge of TDM access network and supporting systems
