Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our team. As a trusted Software Engineer, you will design, implement, maintain, or modify systems for solving problems or accomplishing work processes through web-based application development. Key Responsibilities:

• Manages and provides software development support using format specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques and performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis;
• Designs, develops, tests, deploys and maintains software installations that meet user and business requirements
• Makes recommendations and implements enhancements to existing systems resulting in improved system efficiencies and performance. Required Experience/Skills:
  • At least three (3) years of systems engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical field; or at least five (5) years of systems engineering experience and no degree requirement.
  • Must have experience with new technologies such LiquidOffice and Juvare WebEOC and/or ability to learn quickly
  • Good understanding and experience of Application Server development, middleware and COTS product integration
  • Expert knowledge of Visual Studio or other Microsoft IDE or Eclipse IDE for Java development
  • Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo)
  • Demonstrates strong (verbal and written) communication skills
  • Public trust clearance eligibility required Desired Experience/Skills:
    • Experience working in an Agile development team
