Meet our professionals CGI: An employer of choice Position Description: We are looking for a seasoned Full Stack JAVA Developer with a strong security focus and extensive experience to help with application migration to AWS and implement best practices. The individual in this role will be part of the AWS solution team and work closely with the Application Architect and Solution Architect. Your future duties and responsibilities: * Experience in designing and developing MVC based web applications. * Write high-quality, efficient, testable code in Java and other object-oriented languages. * Design and build Micro services * Ability to effectively solve technical challenges and propose solutions * Strong full stack skills (Java, Web services, React, AngularJS, CSS, and etc) * Experience in working with version controlling tool Git, build tool Maven and automation server Jenkins * Experience with multiple back-end languages like Java, Python * Experience with JavaScripts frameworks like React, AngularJS, Node.js * Collaborate closely with UX designers define the scope of the application and develop the application Required qualifications to be successful in this role: * Experience with server-side frameworks such as Spring Boot * Design and development experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL preferred) * Experience in implementing containerized solutions with Docker preferred * Strong debugging skills along with active code review completions * Design and develops practical APIs and abstractions. * Experienced with AWS or other Cloud Services (CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS, EC2, IAM, RDS etc). #cgifederaljob What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
