Overview Job Skills / Requirements First Coast Security Solutions provides security services nationwide and is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support assigned locations and contracts. Key duties include performing various administrative functions (e.g. conducting hiring processes, training, administering benefits, data entry in the Company HRIS, etc), managing HR processes across assigned contracts, working with field management on all HR matters and conducting HR / EEO audits. Responsibilities Implement and administer company HR policies and procedures Support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and retention efforts Ensure compliance with employment laws including FLSA, EEO, ADA/ADAAA, and SCA (where applicable) Conduct HR/compliance audits Advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee issues Administer benefits, leaves, and other HR programs at the local level Assist with investigations, terminations, unemployment claims, and audit preparation Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data Working Conditions Maintaining composure while interacting with authorities, executives, clients, employees, and the public, sometimes under pressure. Handling confidential and sensitive information. Managing multiple tasks concurrently. Regular speaking, listening, and use of close and distance vision. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Ability to successfully complete required background checks, drug testing, and behavioral assessments in accordance with Company standards. Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources experience, or equivalent education and experience Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a compliance-focused environment Strong communication skills and customer service mindset Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Education Associate degree in Human Resources, or related field required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
