government forward! The work: The SAP Proposal to Reward Process
Architect will lead the S/4HANA Proposal to Reward (P2R) Functional
Business Process capability for the organization, specifically
focused on Federal Grants Management (Grantor). Develops and
implements an S/4HANA solution design that manages the end-to-end
Grantor lifecycle: from the creation of funding opportunities and
receipt of grant proposals to technical evaluation, committee
review, and formal award obligation. Works with key stakeholders to
understand federal mandates, design business processes for
merit-based selection, and provide S/4HANA technology solutions
that integrate with Funds Management (FM) and US Federal
Accounting. Leads the build and ongoing maintenance of the process
capability. The SAP Functional Lead is responsible for leading
complex business and system analysis, design, and testing. Key
responsibilities: Lead and coordinate functional team activities
across Grantee Management, Program Management, Proposal Evaluation,
and Award Obligation workstreams Provide guidance and direction to
the functional team, ensuring alignment with Federal Budgetary
Ledger (FBL) requirements and the Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
Oversee the implementation of SAP Grantor solutions, ensuring they
meet business requirements for federal compliance (e.g., DATA Act
reporting, SF-424 forms, and 2 CFR 200) Collaborate with
stakeholders (Grant Officers and Program Managers) to define
project scope, timelines, and deliverables, focusing on the
transparency and auditability of the award process Foster a culture
of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, utilizing
SAP Fiori to streamline the reviewer experience and provide
real-time dashboards on "Obligated vs. Outlaid" funds Monitor and
report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
related to the migration of legacy grant data and complex
multi-year funding structures Ensure adherence to Accenture
delivery methodology, promoting efficient and effective project
delivery Facilitate communication between teams, ensuring seamless
integration between P2R and the Budget to Report (B2R) team for
fund availability checks and Procure to Pay (P2P) for related
contract actions Mentor and develop team members, promoting skill
growth in areas like Public Sector Management (PSM), Funds
Management (FM), and Business Rule Framework plus (BRFplus) for
automated eligibility scoring Stay informed about SAP updates (such
as SAP Tax and Revenue Management or Public Sector Collection and
Disbursement) and federal industry best practices to drive
continuous improvement Here’s what you need: 8 years of experience
in SAP project management, demonstrating a deep understanding of
SAP S/4HANA Public Sector and Grants Management (GM) modules Proven
leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing
federal grant cycles or large-scale financial assistance programs
In-depth knowledge of delivery methodologies and practices (e.g.,
Agile, Scrum) Proficiency in project planning, resource allocation,
and risk management specific to federal fiscal year-end deadlines
and statutory reporting Ability to align SAP P2R project goals with
broader agency objectives, such as reducing improper payments and
improving grant accessibility Experience in mentoring and
developing team members to enhance their functional configuration
and federal accounting knowledge Nice to have: Demonstrated ability
to drive continuous improvement, such as implementing automated
interfaces with Grants.gov or SAM.gov Familiarity with SAP tools
and technologies (e.g., S/4HANA, BRFplus, and Fiori), as well as a
commitment to staying updated on federal technology trends
Bachelor's degree in a related field Eligibility requirements: US

government Secret Clearance Willingness to travel up to 25% As

reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor
costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois,
Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York,
Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of
Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations
is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal
Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but
not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of
