This is a contract opportunity ideal for candidates with entry to mid-level compensation experience who are eager to expand their skills in a collaborative, fast-paced HR environment. This role offers hands-on exposure to compensation planning, job evaluations, and market benchmarking.Job Description:This role will support a small Compensation team in executing compensation-related processes and projects. The ideal candidate has experience working with job descriptions, salary benchmarking tools, and HRIS systems such as Workday. A strong attention to detail, adaptability, and clear communication skills are essential.Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, edit, and organize job descriptions to ensure consistency and compliance with internal standards.
  • Conduct market pricing to support salary recommendations and grade assignments.
  • Assist with participation in compensation surveys (e.g., Mercer, SHRM, Willis Towers Watson).
  • Support position management activities in Workday including position creation, job changes, and compensation adjustments.
  • Contribute to Workday testing and configuration updates related to compensation.
  • Retrieve and organize compensation data and job information for internal stakeholders and ongoing projects.
  • Assist in responding to compensation service requests and internal HR tickets.
  • Provide administrative support for compensation-related training and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the team on broader initiatives such as job architecture and compensation benchmarking projects.Qualifications:
    • 1-2 years of compensation-related experience (or strong HR Assistant experience with demonstrated compensation focus).
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis tools).
    • Exposure to Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
    • Familiarity with compensation surveys and benchmarking tools a plus.
    • Excellent communication and organization skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.Perks:
