Job Description: WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within BCG's Public Sector Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, providing industry and/or functional expertise and insights whilst working together with project and proposal teams to provide knowledge materials, analysis and expert advisory. Youll serve as a thought partner and content expert to project teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues. Additionally, you will support the development of existing and new intellectual property and knowledge assets for the Education sector. You will work on commercialization efforts for the sector, in conjunction with business leaders, supporting marketing efforts, conferences and publications.BCGs Education, Employment, and Welfare practice supports clients within all sectors of Education. We work with early childhood education providers and systems; K-12 school districts and charter schools; colleges and universities; vocational education and skilling providers; digital education and online learning platforms; and for-profit education players and PE firms. In addition, we work extensively with education foundations and non-profits, as well as global education organizations. Our aim is to help education organizations and institutions fulfill their missions, grow, and adapt to the market in order to maximize student outcomes, especially for traditionally underrepresented students and learners.YOU'RE GOOD ATConducting education research and analysis to help solve client challengesCodifying knowledge and maintaining assets and tools for the education sector based on client contexts and market needsCommunicating with senior stakeholders, in a credible and confident wayWorking collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic, including virtualBeing flexible and bringing a curious and creative mindset, with an openness to learn new things and propose innovative ideasNavigating complexity and ambiguityPrioritizing workload requests and completing multiple projects simultaneouslyYOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)Breadth of experience across education topics, such as early childhood, K-12, higher education, and education technologyKnowledge of education research and data sources to support analysis and benchmarking requests3+ years of education industry experience, such as at a research firm, think tank, or policy organization; candidates with consulting experience an added bonusBachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)Strong written and verbal communication skills, including short form articles / memos and longer publicationsOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environmentAbility to get up to speed on new education topic areas and market trends quicklyYOU'LL WORK WITHAs a Senior Knowledge Analyst you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight. BCG's Knowledge Team members have the opportunity to be staffed on projects and help co-create insights with teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the practice areas business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
