Job Description:

HBI is currently seeking a Human Resources Administrator of Talent Acquisition & Benefits. In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with HR team on re-imagining and developing a talent acquisition strategy for recruitment that will result in attracting and retaining a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates for positions through traditional and non-traditional channels.
  • Partner with HR Team and Communications/Marketing team to design and drive a marketing plan to build awareness of the HBI employment brand.
  • Work with HR Team and hiring managers to develop, cultivate, and maintain internal and external relationships that support a diverse talent pipeline.
  • Assist in building the organization's interviewing and hiring abilities to improve the quality of the candidate experience quality of our hires and hiring process.
  • Drive an efficient and effective recruiting process from talent attraction and candidate identification to assessment, offer, and onboarding.
  • Continually gather feedback from candidates and hiring managers (including surveys and conversations) to iterate and improve the hiring process.
  • Leverage technology enhancements to drive efficiency and scalability and use data to identify and address weak links in process or approach.
  • Manage all employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, accidental death, flexible spending, 401(a) 403(b), and voluntary benefits plans.
  • Manage new employee onboarding and open enrollment proactively; provides comprehensive information related to benefits options, conducts periodic benefits information sessions; respond to employee inquiries, and directs employees to vendor resources and publications as required.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors, reconciling vendor reports for all benefits and deductions; ensures payments are processed in a timely manner, providing report metrics for periodic and annual reporting.
  • Conducts periodic training and information sessions for employees and managers related to benefits compliance, benefits programs, and wellness activities.
  • Lead and contribute to projects to improve the delivery of recruiting services.
  • Arranges vendor presentations promoting benefits programs to employees.
  • Resolves employee questions and problems by interpreting benefit policies and procedures.
  • Manages workers' compensation incident reporting; works with college staff regarding incident investigations as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training, skills, and experience
    • Minimum 3+ years of progressive HR experience.
    • At least two years of management experience in a recruitment function
    • Experience with applicant tracking systems; ADP Workforce Now preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal skills. Proven track record in effectively communicating with all levels. Strong negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and professionalism.
    • Technically oriented, experienced using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), SharePoint, and 365 Teams.
    • Must project a strong business presence and have the ability to instill confidence in customers and to deliver results.
    • Proactive recruiting and sourcing experience.
    • Experience recruiting for senior-level positions.
    • Experience working with various recruiting tools and systems, including resume databases, internet sourcing tools,
    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to employee benefit programs.
    • Demonstrated ability to be accountable, reliable, and able to perform duties and responsibilities in a discreet manner and with accuracy.
    • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Skills in compiling and analyzing data and preparing reports.
