Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Candidates MUST be able to commit to the schedule to be
considered.
Responsibilities:
- The Customer Service Representative role is a forward-facing,
customer service role in card office operations. Our client needs
someone with technical skills to process and issue campus ID cards
as well as work through general customer inquiries via phone and
email.
- The Customer Service Representative role will be working with
8-9 different software systems
- Typical Day: Arrive at 8:30am for prep, then open the office
door at 9am. Assist students/customers until 12pm. Lunch break from
12pm - 1pm. Then continue working and assisting students/customers
from 1pm - 4:30pm. At end of day, reconcile and close out
register.
- Customer Service Representative will utilize ticket system -
respond to complaints or requests for access card (allows access
into buildings, key card, debit card, printing, dining access).
This role will have a problem-solving component and sometimes will
have to reproduce access cards.
- When there are not in-person visitors to assist, Customer
Service Representative will respond to tickets and escalate to
Director if necessary
- Customer Service Representative will be answering phone calls
and responding to requests
- Must be able to follow protocols for example if someone needs a
new card:
- Take information from one system, load to another system, take
that profile and run it through, then change ID card on 3rd system,
then new card can be used.
Requirements:
- Strong technology skills - able to quickly pick up new
databases. Any previous experience using large ERP system is a
plus
- Experienced utilizing Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel (able
to create a spreadsheet, formulas)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Any previous retail experience would be helpful in order to
respond to questions and remain calm when assisting with issues
customer is experiencing
- Able to use a digital register so know basics of Apple Pay,
credit card systems, NFC, etc.
- Bachelor's degree is a plus

- Able to interact with customers who might come to the office
stressed. Must be polite and kind in assisting them
- Enjoys fast paced environment
