Sentara is hiring a Pharmacy Team Leader for Sentara Northern
Virginia Medical Center, in Woodbridge, Virginia.
Shift: Full Time (40 hours)
Rotating Shift
Qualifications:
Virginia Pharmacy Technician license REQUIRED
National Certification (PTCB or NHA) REQUIRED
3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience REQUIRED
2 years in a hospital environment REQUIRED

Job Summary
Prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
Responsible for managing the drug distribution system and providing
technical support in all aspects of the delivery of safe,
effective, patient-focused, and cost-efficient drug therapy.
Performs tasks that require a higher level of competency. Serves as
a resource for the staff, and coordinates the schedule and daily
activities of the department.
VA OR NC (depending upon state location) Pharmacy Technician
Registration Number and PTCB or NHA Certified Pharmacy Technician
(CPhT)
3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience, 2 years in a hospital
environment. IV room training preferred.

NHA Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) - Other/National,
Pharmacy Technician Registration - North Carolina, Pharmacy
