What You ll Do

• Provide Hematology/Oncology coverage for an inpatient and outpatient practice
• Manage a mixed caseload of approximately 70% oncology and 30% hematology
• Work adult and geriatric patients
• See outpatient clinic/office patients and provide hospital rounding support
• Participate in patient care using Epic EMR
• Coordinate care as part of a practice with 1 physician and no APP support
• Support ongoing coverage needs for an open Hem/Onc physician position

What You NeedRequired

• Physician experience in Hematology/Oncology (as applicable to the role)
• Ability to cover Mon Fri, 8:00 am 5:00 pm without weekends or call
• Credentialing timeframe readiness (temporary privileges typically 3 14 days after submission)

Preferred

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Comfort with a practice model where there is no APP support

The Cancer Institute at Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a Locum Hematology/Oncology Physician for ASAP-to-ongoing coverage. This role includes both inpatient and outpatient work with an adult/geriatric patient population, supporting continuity for an open position.
