clinical rotationsProficiency in patient care documentation within
an EMR systemDemonstrated ability to follow established plans of
care and treatment protocols under the supervision of a licensed
Physical TherapistCurrent American Heart Association BLS (Basic
Life Support) or CPR certificationUp-to-date vaccinations as
required by state and facility policy, including current TB
screening and documentation of immunization statusStrong
communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary
team membersAbility to safely assist and guard patients during
therapeutic activities and use appropriate body mechanics for

assistance during functional training, instruct patients in home
exercise programs, and monitor patient response to treatment, all
under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist.A typical
day may include:Assisting with initial and follow-up treatments for
a full outpatient scheduleSetting up patients for modalities and
therapeutic exercise programsDocumenting each treatment session in
the electronic medical record systemCommunicating regularly with
the supervising PT regarding patient status and
progressionCollaborating with front office and rehab staff to
maintain smooth clinic flow and exceptional patient
serviceEducating patients and caregivers on home exercises, safety
strategies, and long-term wellnessPatient volumes and schedules are
structured to allow you to focus on quality care while maintaining
clinic productivity. You can expect a primarily adult and older
adult population, with some adolescents and active individuals
seeking return-to-sport or return-to-work rehabilitation. Schedules
typically follow daytime and early evening clinic hours on
