Locum Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician Opportunity in Richmond, VA

Join an esteemed practice at a renowned hospital in Richmond, Virginia, providing exceptional care in maternal-fetal medicine. This facility is dedicated to supporting high-risk pregnancy patients, boasting a comprehensive team of professionals to ensure quality and timely medical care.

As a locum physician, you'll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, covering multiple locations while providing critical support during a recruitment period. You'll manage an average of 27 scheduled patients per day, ensuring that both high-risk and low-risk pregnancies are addressed with utmost care and precision.

• Provide comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine care in both office and inpatient settings.
• Perform critical procedures including amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and cerclage.
• Engage in patient consultations and handle high-risk pregnancy cases.
• Coordinate with a supportive team, including RNs, genetic counselors, and sonographers.
• Participate in on-call rotations on weekdays and weekends as needed.
• Utilize EMR systems (EPIC, Viewpoint) for patient documentation.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Completed a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Active medical license in Virginia.
• Current BLS certification.
• AIUM Certification preferred.
• A self-query NPDB report, pulled within 30 days, is required at presentation.

• Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine (required).
• AIUM Certification (preferred).
