Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the
Position A hospital in York, PA is seeking a Locum Hospitalist to
provide overnight inpatient care in a large, well-supported acute
care setting. The physician will be responsible for managing
admissions, evaluating adult patients, and coordinating treatment
plans alongside a collaborative nocturnal team. This role involves
handling 10–12 admissions per night, working with multidisciplinary
support staff, and utilizing EPIC EMR . The position focuses on
inpatient clinical care with no procedural requirements , making it
ideal for physicians who prefer a purely admissions-based
hospitalist role in a high-volume environment. Shift Timings: Night
shifts: 6 PM – 6 AM Occasional shifts: 8 PM – 8 AM 12-hour shifts 7
on / 7 off schedule ~14–15 shifts per month Requirements Board
Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
Active Pennsylvania Medical License ACLS Certification (Required)
DEA Registration (Required) Minimum 1–2 years of experience
