Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,168 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience, Minimum 2 years of RN experience, Cerner experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS required, BSN highly desired Must-Have: - Must live 50 miles away - BSN highly desired Description: Fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret it in terms of patient needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients. Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
