Job Description:
MedStar Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered
Nurse to join our dedicated Med/Surg Stroke Unit at our
state-of-the-art facility. This role offers the opportunity to work
collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team focused on providing
high-quality patient-centered care. With a strong emphasis on
stroke recovery and patient safety, the ideal candidate will be
responsible for administering medications, managing patient
recovery, and implementing patient care plans. MedStar Health

plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans for stroke
patients Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, adapting
interventions as needed Administer medications, maintain detailed
paperwork and communicate patient progress Educate patients and
their families on stroke prevention, health maintenance, and
post-hospital care Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and
other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Strong
clinical skills in a hospital setting Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure
environment Proficient in using healthcare software and electronic
health records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in
the state of employment Basic Life Support (BLS) certified Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
