Job Description:
MedStar Health, a leader in integrated healthcare services in
the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia region, is seeking a compassionate and
dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team within a
physician’s office setting. As an RN in our offices, you will work
closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to
deliver high-quality medical care to our patients. You will play a
critical role in the patient care experience, focusing on health
maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and the
management of acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring alignment with
our patient-first philosophy. Coordinate patient care in
collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Administer medications, manage patient therapy, and monitor
treatment progress. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
and document patient care services. Advocate for patients' and
families' needs, and provide health education tailored to
individual circumstances. Implement and evaluate patient care plans
based on patient assessments. Participate in the development and
review of departmental procedures, protocols, and standards. Strong
clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using
medical software and electronic health records. Ability to work
effectively in a team environment. Capable of emergency response
and proficient in basic life support techniques. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life
Support (BLS) Certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) Certification preferred.
