Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Surgical Intensive Care Unit/n/n Location/n Not specified /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Night shift, consisting of 3x12 hour shifts from 19:30 to 08:00. /n/nJob Description/n We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will provide critical care and support to adult and geriatric patients recovering from cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries. You will play a crucial role in managing high-acuity post-operative patients and ensuring high standards of care in a fast-paced environment. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide direct patient care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients with a focus on stabilization and recovery. /n - Monitor and manage patients receiving advanced treatments including ECMO, Impella, and CRRT. /n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacies. /n - Respond to emergencies and provide procedural sedation as needed. /n - Maintain accurate and timely patient records using the Epic charting system. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Must have a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. /n - Current ACLS and BLS certifications required. /n - At least 1 year of previous nursing experience preferred; will consider first-time travelers with 2 years of open heart experience. /n - Experience in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit or similar setting highly preferred. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
