Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Clinton, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - ER /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM /n• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required /n• Patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts /n• Float within skillset as needed /n• 36 hours of orientation provided /n• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS /n• Cerner EMR experience required /n• Triage experience required /n• Within past 8 months, must have worked in ED setting with at least 45,600 visits per year (125/day) /n• 2 years of nursing experience required /n• Travel experience required /n• Maryland license or compact license required /n• Care for patients of all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics /n• Handle daily census of approximately 130 patients /n• Work in 40-room, 40-bed emergency department /n• Requires expert prioritization and organizational skills for fast-paced ER environment /n• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation /n• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions /n• Two supervisor references required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a high-volume emergency department with 40 beds and handles approximately 130 patient visits daily. The facility provides comprehensive emergency services for patients of all ages and maintains modern equipment and technology including Cerner EMR systems.
