Job Description:

work. Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: • 12 months of role
experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have
at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience. • 3 months
of travel experience is required from any number of months. •
Experience with MedConnectHealth is preferred from any number of
months. • BSN completion preferred Requirements: • Candidates must
have a District of Columbia license (required for submission). •
Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from
facility will be processed as local. • Flu vaccination required for
submission. Declinations not accepted. • 12 months gap required
between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no
current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health.

expedite your on-boarding process. Additional Details: Required
Skills/Experience - 2 years of experience: clinic or acute
inpatient MS - will accept RN with basic MedSurg experience with
this opening. - Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam for
clearance, achieving at least an 80% overall score and 100% on
lethal rhythms (for specific specialties). - You must be able to
complete labs within 48 hours of signing. - References must cover
at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the
past 3 years. Preferred Skills/Experience - Prior clinic experience
preferred. - Work Settings: Acute Hospital, Outpatient Clinic.
Required Credentials - For DC locations – You must have DC license
in hand, but certain units accept pending. MedStar will usually
accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure.

Patient population: Patients being evaluated for kidney transplant.

Travelers must be comfortable proceeding without an interview. -
Any traveler questions should be directed to the AM. Special
Requests - No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the
assignment. - RTO must be included at the time of submittal and
cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for
review. Shift & Scheduling - No on call, no weekend requirement. 7
days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 14 days 2
references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type)
