Job Description:

Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department. Our mission

ranging from routine care to advanced surgical interventions. This

various medical emergencies and improve patient outcomes. At
MedStar Health, we equip our nurses with advanced technology and
support necessary for delivering exceptional care. Provide
immediate medical attention to emergency room patients in both
life-threatening and non-life-threatening situations. Assess
patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement
nursing care plans. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records
of patient care. Administer medications, monitor patient recovery
and progress, and assist in convalescence and rehabilitation.
Operate medical equipment and monitor patient vital signs.
Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share
expertise and knowledge. Educate patients and their families on
disease prevention and health maintenance. Prepare patients for,
and assist with, examinations and treatments. Strong clinical
skills in a fast-paced emergency room setting. Excellent
decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Effective
communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and
healthcare staff. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR)
systems. Ability to handle high-stress, emergency situations with
composure and competence. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of Maryland or a compact RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Certification preferred.
