Job Description:

in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia region, is seeking a dedicated and
skilled Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit. This position
offers a critical opportunity to make a significant impact on
patient outcomes in a high-intensity setting. Our ICU nurses are
essential to our commitment to providing top-tier medical care, as
they manage complex patient cases and support patient recovery.
Join our team and contribute to a network that is at the forefront
of advanced medical procedures and patient-first care. Provide
direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the
application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and
communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized
documentation systems. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient
care plans in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
Administer medications accurately, observing patient response, as
evidenced by documentation in the medical record and lack thereof
complications. Perform intervention duties in cases of emergencies,
such as CPR and emergency airway procedures. Educate patients on
post-hospital treatment regimens, health maintenance, and disease
prevention. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification. Proficient in using healthcare
software and systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a high-stress
environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice. Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) would be
advantageous but not mandatory.
