This position involves providing specialized care and treatment for patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence disorders across various settings in our network. The WOCN will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and promote optimal patient outcomes. Assess patient condition and needs to develop appropriate care plans Implement and manage wound, ostomy, and continence care protocols Educate patients and their families on care techniques and management Monitor and report on patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals Maintain patient dignity and confidentiality Expert knowledge in wound, ostomy, and continence care Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to operate medical equipment related to WOC needs Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board
