The role offers flexible scheduling, with daily shifts structured around patient volume, ranging from 4-hour morning scopes to comprehensive 8-hour days. Responsibilities and Duties Assist with filling schedule gaps where faculty physicians may be double-booked. Perform upper and lower scopes. Refrain from advanced procedures such as ERCP or EUS. Additional Information Required Board Certification: Gastroenterology. EMR: Epic. Shift hours are determined by patient volume, typically involving 4-hour days for morning scopes (5-8 scopes) or 8-hour days that include morning and additional afternoon scopes.
